From Germany to Luxembourg on a single ticket

The Deutschlandticket will become available for use on regional buses crossing the border with Luxembourg. This change will come into effect from 2025 as part of a pilot project running until 2026.
Previously, passengers travelling by bus to Luxembourg had to pay additional fares, which could be up to €40 per month. Deutschlandticket holders will now be able to save money on cross-border journeys.
This ticket, introduced to make travelling easier and cheaper, provides unlimited access to public transport for short-distance journeys across Germany. However, its price will increase from the current €49 to €58 per month in 2025.
