LUkraine absl sends 10 ambulances to Ukraine as part of UAmbulance initiative

Charity organization LUkraine launched the UAmbulance project in April. As part of this measure, the organisation planned to raise 130,000 euros in funding. The money would be used to purchase, repair and fully equip ambulance units. Then these units would be sent to Ukraine.

The first of them left for the war zone on April 18. It went to the city of Novomoskovsk in the Dnipro region. The city at that time was under attack by a large Russian force. On August 5, the project was officially completed: the necessary funding was collected, and 10 repaired ambulances are now helping Ukrainians in many regions of the country. They will continue their service even after the end of the war.

Many large organizations have helped LUkraine financially: SNCA, SNCT, Autopolis Utilitaire, Lalux and TÜV Rheinland Luxembourg. Private donors have also been of great help.

You can learn more about the project on the LUkraine website.

This is not the first charity initiative by the organization. Earlier we wrote about the summer camp organized by LUkraine for refugee children.
