Schueberfouer prices - what guests should expect

"We're trying to make Fouer accessible to visitors, that's one of our goals," said Laurent Schwaller of Luxembourg's Department of Public Spaces, Holidays and Markets. Prices for the rides range from 3 to 9 euros, the more extreme, the more expensive. The average price is around 5-6 euros. The city makes a choice in favor of cheaper analogues if their technical characteristics are the same.

Despite the inflation, the owners of the rides at the Schueberfouer fair have decided not to raise prices for visitors. "These are the same prices as in 2023," they assure, whether it is small amusements or large rides, as well as the cost of food at the fair.

However, some admit the difficulties they are facing. "All prices are going up, whether it's the price of electricity or fuel. Sometimes it's hard to keep up," says a mobile restaurant owner. But he is confident: "I'm not going to raise prices just because it's Schueberfouer. Despite the higher number of visitors, the prices are the same as in other places".

Charles Hari, chairman of the fair visitors, confirms this decision. He explains: "We talked to everyone to keep the prices the same. Everyone wants to be competitive, we can't charge twice as much for the same thing. However, the final prices of some products will be known when the fair opens on Friday.
