Every fifth Ukrainian job seeker in Luxembourg has already found work

580 Ukrainians have registered in the Luxembourg Employment Center (ADEM). More than a hundred of them have already found a job.

In general, there are no problems with employment in Luxembourg. The main obstacle for Ukrainians is language. 40% of Ukrainian refugees know English. But it is not in demand on the Luxembourg market. Employers need German and French, and those were studied by far fewer applicants.

However, for those who do not know languages, vacancies are available where communication is not required. These are cleaning, gardening, work in hotels, in the kitchens of restaurants and cafes. And in the future, Ukrainians can improve their language knowledge and find a job according to their prior profession.
