Luxembourg's bank holidays is one of the biggest events of the year. In 2025, the celebrations will begin on the evening of 22 June, and major changes to public transport are planned to ensure comfortable travel for residents and visitors across the country.

Additional night bus and train services will operate across the country. State bus operator RGTR is launching night journeys on 20 key routes, including destinations in Mersch, Echternach, Grevenmacher, Mondorf, Bettembourg, Schifflange and others. In most cases, traffic will run until 03:30am.

CFL passengers will be able to take night trains to Troisvierges, Arlon, Trier, Rodange and Dudelange. All of them will depart Luxembourg after midnight with intervals until 03:35.

City buses (AVL) will reinforce the operation of routes connecting the P+R car parks with Luxembourg city centre and the train station. For example, shuttles will depart from Bouillon, Stade de Luxembourg and Howald every 5-10 minutes from 18:00 to 23:00. After the fireworks and until 03:30 there will be return trips from the centre to the car parks.

Luxtram trams will run at a frequency of 5-6 minutes until 02:55. However, due to the fireworks display, traffic between the Hamilius and Place de Metz stops will temporarily stop between 18:45 and 00:15. During this time, bus 39 will run instead of trams. The service will resume after midnight, and the last departures will finish around 03:15.

On 23 June, most lines will operate according to holiday timetables. In the capital, during the military parade from 09:25 to 13:55 trams will not run between Hamilius and Gare Centrale, but there will be a substitute bus service.

The Adapto service for mobility impaired passengers will extend its opening hours until midnight. TICE buses and Nightlife routes will also be utilised, especially in the southern regions.
