Luxembourg events for August 30-September 1

German singer and songwriter Loi will headline this summer's BetzField Open Air Festival in Roodt-sur-Syre. On August 30, she will be joined on stage by Luxembourg Song Contest finalists CHAiLD and Krick, who will perform in a picturesque forest setting. The evening will close with a performance by Loi, known for her hits, including the song "I Follow", which was on the soundtrack of the film Ostwind. The next day, August 31st, the rock band Fred Barreto Group from Luxembourg and the French project Rock Legends Experience will perform, giving the audience the opportunity to choose their favorite songs. Attendees can enjoy the performances either in front of the stage or on the lawn with a blanket or chair, bringing their own drinks and snacks.

The organization Frënn vum Kielener Brennereimusée Asbl will hold its second Mirabelle Festival at the Distillery Museum in Kielen on Sunday, September 1, 2024, starting at 11:00. Guests will be treated to a variety of products made from the yellow mirabelle plum, an entertainment program with music, aqua make-up and children's activities, as well as grilled food.

The second Luxembourg Expat Day will take place on Sunday, September 1, from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Abbey of Neumünster. After a successful debut that attracted around 7,000 visitors, the event will once again offer a day dedicated to the culture and charm of Luxembourg. Guests can expect local food tastings, shows, various information stands and entertainment on 4,000 m² presented by 42 exhibitors. The event introduces expats and all visitors to Luxembourg's gastronomic, cultural and tourist offerings, as well as the services and products of local producers.
