«Sincere love of the stage»: The Måneskin concert in Luxembourg

Måneskin appeared in Luxembourg's Rock Hall on Sunday, April 30, as part of their first world tour, Loud Kids. The truly resounding concert found something to surprise loyal fans and the most sophisticated audience. Luxtoday attended the concert and share the details with you.

From pop-rock with funk elements to the long guitar solos of 22-year-old Thomas Raggi, Måneskin truly knows how to impress at their concerts. The band, which became a worldwide success in just 7 years of existence, sincerely bursts out on stage and seems to have fun doing it. A real hit with the image of daring rockstars, not yet tired of the world of the music industry, who are interested to try new and legendary old things.

There you will find various spectacular tricks: a projector on the shoulder of frontman Damiano David, who will shine the spotlight on the audience and musicians; huge screens on the edges of the stage, allowing you to see all the details of what is happening on stage; real flame installations behind drummer Ethan Torchio, and Victoria De Angelis, running through the crowd of fans with a guitar in her hands (and a couple of security guards).

The young rock stars enjoy engaging their audience in the show, jumping on fans' arms and even inviting them on stage. The tradition that Måneskin carried through many countries of their tour did not leave Luxembourg behind — the most active members of the dance floor were invited on stage to dance together with the band members.

A nice and unexpected moment of the show was when the musicians appeared on a small stage at the back of the hall to perform a couple of songs especially for the fans in the back rows.

The concert itself lasted a little over two hours, which is worth noting separately — all the cuts and breaks passed imperceptibly, and the musicians almost never left the stage together, only to surprise the crowd once again with an unexpected appearance in another corner. Attention to detail and a great love for the music and the stage, with which the musicians literally contagger the crowd, made this evening special for many Luxembourgers.

In 2021, the Italian band Måneskin won the Eurovision Song Contest. The rising stars of Italian rock'n'roll instantly conquered the top charts of all the streaming services. In many ways, this happened exactly due to the participants' flamboyant image and the new rock sound of both already known tracks (the first album "Chosen", 2017) and the band's own compositions in Italian ("Teatro d'Ira", 2021).

The next concerts of the Loud Kids tour will take place in Copenhagen, London and in the musicians' homeland in Italy.
