Wine tasting, Central and Eastern European cinema and flea markets - you won't be bored this weekend
The weekend of October 21-23 in Luxembourg will be marked with a large number of festivals having their grand endings. The perfect time to visit new places while you still have the chance.
Thousand Lights of the Moselle
A colorful light festival, which will take place both on the water and on the riverbank. The program includes fireworks, light shows, wine tasting and more. Prices for the entry range from 85 to 149 euros. The cost depends on the type of program you choose, the menu and the types of entertainment chosen.
French Wine Festival
At the 46th annual festival, 571 varieties of wine and champagne can be found. A real paradise for tasters and connoisseurs of unsurpassed French drinks. If you haven’t tried everything you want yet, hurry up! The festival ends on October 23. Tastings are held in the galleries of Cactus Belle Etoile, Bascharage, Howald and Ingeldorf outlets.
Distillery Day
Another wine festival, this time a local one. At the exhibition, you will be able to find and taste the products of Moselle distilleries. This year there will also be guests from Germany. The expansion of the festival’s geography definitely benefits it and helps winemakers and connosieurs exchange experience. All events will take place over the weekend, on October 22 and 23.
CinEast
This film festival focused on movies from Central and Eastern Europe has become a real cultural breakthrough in recent years. On its 15th anniversary the festival focuses on cinema from the Czech Republic. But besides that, more than 90 films of various length were and will be screened. However, there is very little time left — the festival ends on October 23.
