Easter with sunshine and an umbrella: forecast for the festive weekend in Luxembourg

After a cold and rainy week, the Easter weekend in Luxembourg will be much more pleasant than expected. According to MeteoLux, weather conditions over the next three days will be generally favourable, although light precipitation is still possible.

Dry and sunny weather is expected on Saturday, the day before Easter. About nine hours of sunshine is forecast, making the day the clearest of the week. Temperatures will range from 3°C to 6°C in the morning, but will warm up to 16-19°C in the afternoon. This will create ideal conditions for walking and pre-holiday shopping.

Easter Sunday will be similar to Saturday in terms of temperature, ranging from 16°C to 18°C. However, the skies will be more variable: the sun will alternate with clouds and there may be some brief rain in the afternoon. This won't spoil the day, but it's worth being a little more careful when planning outdoor activities.

Temperatures will drop slightly on Monday, with highs around 15°C. The sun will appear less frequently than on the previous two days and there will be an increased chance of precipitation. Those going for a traditional walk after Easter lunch should take into account the changeable nature of the weather and be prepared for rain.
