Orchard Month in Mullertal will begin on 1 October

Müllertal, known as the Valley of the Mills and "Little Switzerland" in Luxembourg, celebrates the harvest season each year with a big event. Mount Vum Bongert, or Orchard Month, will take place from 1st to 31st of October this year.
The tradition of celebrating Mount vum Bongert began in 2020 in Müllertal Park. Visitors take part in fruit picking, sampling themed menus in restaurants in the country and can even collect fresh fruits to take them home.
Where to harvest fruits
On 5 October, a harvest event will be held at the orchard in Bollendorf Pont. There will be a short introduction to the value of orchards and introduction on how to the care of fruit trees, after which participants will begin collecting apples. Participants will be able to take some of the fruits home with them.

Where to attend a cocktail masterclass
You can make alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails from regional fruits on 11 October at the Beaufort Cocktail Workshop. The masterclass will be led by Ayrton Mongenie, who was recognised as the best bartender last year in Luxembourg. He will show how to prepare different cocktails. Of course, snacks will also be served to the participants.
