A conference on statistics and Big Data to be held in Luxembourg

The Luxembourg-Japan Conference will take place at the Esch-Belval Campus of the University of Luxembourg on January 23-25. Specialists from the Japanese private research institute Waseda will talk about statistics and Big Data. Also attending the conference will be Masanobu Taniguchi, who is often called the father of Japanese statistics.

Representatives of STATEC and several faculties of the University of Luxembourg will speak on behalf of the Grand Duchy. A special guest will also arrive from Brussels - mathematician and statistician Mark Hallin.
