Luxembourg will receive 67.5 million euros for digital and environmental development

EU states that support cohesion policies must submit investment plans. Luxembourg, as one of the signatories of the agreement, has already prepared its documentation. The priorities in the development of the country are the transition to clean energy, support for integration, digitalization and development of the labor market.

23 million euros will be used to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce emissions in the construction and transport industries. Also, this money will help preserve the country’s biodiversity.

15.5 million will be spent on education, integration and support of the labor market. These measures include staff development, assistance to migrants and refugees, the fight against child poverty, and others.

Another 29 million euros have been allocated to the Greater Region Development Program. Attention will be paid primarily to mobility, increasing the number of jobs, as well as innovation and modernization.
