Restaurants in Luxembourg are among the world»s best
5 restaurants based in the Grand Duchy have entered the Top-1000 across the world according to La Liste 2022. La Liste is a huge list of restaurants that bases its ratings upon thousands of reviews and articles from media publications. Getting on it is the dream of any self-respecting chef. And in Luxembourg there are 5 new entries for the list at once. Which is impressive: the territory of the country is much smaller than Germany, France and even Japan.
Ma Langue Sourit and its chef Cyril Molar got the closest to the first hundred. By the way, this is the only 2 Michelin star restaurant in the Grand Duchy. This year, the restaurant only strengthened its position, catching up with Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant. It scored 94.5 points out of 100 possible against 91 points last year. There is room to grow, because competitors do not plan to give up either.
It is worth saying that other 4 restaurants are also confidently going up in the rating. For example, the Italian family restaurant Mosconi scored an honorable 85.5 points in 2021, and this year it gained almost 6 points more — 91 / 100.
Two more establishments follow the Italian restaurant. These are La Distillerie with 83.5 points and Léa Linster with 82.5. Both of these restaurants improved their last year’s results by 3 points. Good dynamics!
Clairefontaine closes out the honorary Luxembourg five. This restaurant scored 81 points out of 100. The result is slightly weaker than its competitors, but it still gained a place in the Top-1000.
