Tourists return to the Grand Duchy: 2,500+ guests have visited the capital over a long weekend

For 4 days during a long weekend associated with the church holiday of the Assumption, tourists from different European countries have arrived in Luxembourg. There were about 2,500 of them in total — constituting 99.96% of the pre-pandemic level of 2019.

Most of the guests were French (579 people). There were also tourists from Denmark (513), Germany (488) and Belgium (146).

162 Luxembourgers took advantage of the long weekend to explore the capital along with visitors from abroad. They signed up for numerous guided city tours and other activities. The Luxembourg Tourism Authority has organized more than 20 such tours around the capital.
