Luxembourg events schedule for June 23-25

Today is National Day eve, so the streets are already crowded and loud. But there's more to come! The country's main holiday is not the only event of the week, although the weekend will be much quieter.

National Day

The changing of the guard ceremony has passed. The torchlight procession is next. It starts at 9:20 p.m. and the fireworks at 11:00 p.m. Despite the bad weather, luxembourgers will surely watch these two shows because they've been awaited for so long. They definitely can't just cancel everything because of the rain! The main festival is only once a year.

The festivities and parties will go on into the night. Read our article with a schedule of the main events for more information.

History of Luxembourg

The tour takes place every Sunday and covers a whole 1000 years of history. If you haven't already done so, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the country's culture and traditions. Booking in advance is recommended as the tour is very popular. Entry is free.

Address: Lëtzebuerg City Museum, 14, rue Saint Esprit, L-2090 LUXEMBOURG

Garer Kiermes

Luxembourg's traditional annual fair is now open! From June 16 to July 2, there will be rides, an amusement park, delicious food stalls and, of course, a market.

A fair is not only a place to have fun, to meet friends and to socialise. They are also part of the Grand Duchy's heritage and are a source of pride and joy.

Be part of the cycle of smiles, colours and good humour!

Address: Place de Paris, LUXEMBOURG
