Deadlines for receiving cost of living financial aid extended by a month
Now low-income households have until October 31 to collect the necessary documents and apply for financial aid.
The cost of living benefits are one of the key social support measures in Luxembourg. It can be received by those households whose average monthly income is below the established norm:
- 3168 euros per person
- for the second person, 1580 euros are added to the upper limit
- for each household member, the upper income threshold is increased by 950.4 euros.
The aid amount also differs depending on the number of people in the household. For one person, it is set at 1652 euros, for two — 2065 euros, 2478 euros for three people, 2891 euros for four people and 3304 euros for five or more people.
