Luxembourg»s first hydrogen fueling station to open in 2023

The government has firmly decided to pay more attention to hydrogen fueling technologies.

The hydrogen fueling station will open in early 2023. It will be located at the CFL logistics center in Bettembourg. Refueling will be available for all hydrogen-powered vehicles. The idea of ​​opening such a station came from the search for renewable energy sources and the reduction of harmful emissions.

Now 100% of hydrogen is produced from fossil fuels. However, by 2030 it’s going to be produced by renewable sources. The transport sector may also switch to this type of energy. In particular, this applies to buses and trucks.
