The scandal at the Lycée Hubert Clément. The police are investigating
In October 2024, the administration of the Lycée Hubert Clément received a report of possible sexually inappropriate acts that occurred during an event organised by the association in charge of the school's theatre group. To protect the students, the information was immediately passed to the public prosecutor's office.
A judicial investigation is currently underway to establish the veracity of the facts presented. Until its completion, the activities of the theatre group have been suspended and the teachers involved in the organisation of events have been temporarily relieved of their duties.
Despite the suspension of the theatre group, the general functioning of the lyceum remains unchanged: classes and other extracurricular activities are carried out as normal.
The Luxembourg Ministry of Education and the Lycée administration declined to comment on the case, citing the ongoing investigation and the need to protect all those involved.
