Remote workers work 2 hours less daily on average

Remote workers work only 5-6 hours a day, while in-office workers work 7-8 hours. This data is provided by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
What is the free time spent on?
- On sleep. Sleep, on average, lasts an hour more for remote workers.
- On leisure. Leisure time at home is increased by more than two hours a day.
- On household chores. Engaged in housework, daily repair and cooking takes 10 to 36 minutes more per day.
According to CNBC, remote workers have also become more attentive in various fields: from caring for their children and earning money outside of their day job... to looking for other jobs.
But these statistics contradict European reports - increasingly detailed - which suggest that Europeans were working hard at the start of the Covid pandemic. In Luxembourg, on average, they worked six to ten hours more per week, according to Eurofound.
